The Heart of Williams

This is the heart of Williams Syndrome thru the heart of my stepdaughter Jenny. One physical challenge that Williams Syndrome population has is heart problems. Jenny as child had heart stenosis, which is common in WS. The heart is a big deal to Jenny as you will see in her artwork. When I asked Jenny to do a WS picture for the summer convention this is the picture she came up with. This is in true Jenny style. As I was coloring it in, I had a 'aha moment' as this is so autobiographical of Jenny. If you notice her lines are straight and funky, that is just how she is in life, sometimes right on and other times just swirly! They are also the most loving individuals you will ever meet, so the hearts she draws so fits the title. It is by far my favorite depiction of Williams Syndrome.
